Meet Mr Reaney

September 23, 2020

Our new Physics teacher, Mr Dermot Reaney wasn’t always a teacher. In fact, he first enjoyed a successful career in finance working for companies including Deloittes and HSBC before training for a career in teaching. He took his Physics degree at the age of 50 at the University of Hertfordshire.

Mr Reaney previously taught Physics at Rickmansworth and Haberdashers’ Boys’ schools before joining Aldenham but he actually spent last year travelling around Europe and South America (Chile and Argentina) with his wife. Despite having four children and three grandchildren, with two more on the way, Mr Reaney still makes time for golf, the theatre and reading.

A scouser born and bred, his team of course is Liverpool.
