More Excellent EPQ Results

January 17, 2019

Aldenham School’s EPQ results were published this week with outstanding grades:

  • 100% A* - C
  • 91% A* - B
  • 73% A* - A
  • 55% A*

Congratulations to our Upper Sixth EPQ students on achieving this standard, six months before their A Level examinations. Not only did our students achieve 100% A* - C, one student even achieved 100% of the raw marks for his EPQ.

The Extended Project Qualification is worth half of an A Level and is highly valued by universities because it encourages the development of independent learning and research skills. Our students chose a diverse and fascinating range of topics, ranging from dyslexia, football analytics, bitcoin and Atlantic Roundhouses. The EPQs were produced in a variety of ways, ranging from composing an operetta, teaching a Year 1 class, performing a cost-benefit analysis and creating a collection of garments.
