Year 10 County Cup Winners
The U15 side followed in the Yr9s footsteps by winning the U15 Herts County Cup on Friday evening at Welwyn Garden City Football Club. In a repeat of the last year’s final the team faced Longdean School. The team started strongly and had several chances to score before Harry Fox put us 1-0 up with a superbly taken free-kick from 25 yards. Despite a number of chances to extend the lead the score remained at 1-0 at half-time. Longdean got back into the game in the second half but failed to create any clear-cut chances and the final was won when Aaron Nour set up Lucas Jackson to cut in from the right hand side and finish with his left-foot to complete the scoring and a 2-0 win.
