Parliament Week

It was UK Parliament Week from 24 – 28 November and Aldenham participated in a number of ways.

A Level Politicians went to Westminster on Monday, took tours of the Houses of Parliament and the Supreme Court. On Tuesday, Sir Charles Walker came to speak to the school about the basics of Politics, Parliament and the prospect of 16 year olds being able to vote in the next election. He also stayed to speak to A Level Politicians about a range of issues from his role in Parliamentary debates and select committees to the current position of the Conservative Party. Finally, many tutor groups have been discussing Politics in the morning
