Refurbished Kitchens and Servery officially opened
September 5, 2019
Following the refurbishment of the Senior School kitchens, we were delighted to welcome our Chair of Governors Trevor Barton, and new School Governor Sarah Altman to perform the official opening. Joining them were James Fowler (Headmaster), Wayne Wishart (Executive Head Chef – Holroyd Howe) and Nick Howe (Joint Managing Director of Holroyd Howe).
When they had finished inspecting the smart new facilities they were ready for a tasty lunch in the Dining Hall. Wayne and his team prepare over 1,000 lunches every school day, plus breakfast and dinner for staff and boarders seven days a week during term times. It’s fair to say that it’s certainly a busy kitchen, but after more than 19 years working at Aldenham he is certainly fit for the challenge.
