Senior Mixed Tennis Wins
November 21, 2016
Our senior mixed tennis teams have won the County round of the National Senior Students’ Tennis Tournament and will now progress to the knockout stages. Abbie James & Jamie Gall and Hana Hashiba-Charlton & Chris Page were elated to have beaten opponents from Highgate and Haileybury.
In challenging and atrocious weather conditions, where the matches had to move indoors midway through, the Aldenham teams triumphed over players who were between one and two years older than themselves. The matches were very close with both being drawn and had to be decided by Championship tie breaks in exciting finishes.
All four of our players played extremely well and coped admirably under very intense pressure. Good luck to them as they move into the next round.
