We were delighted to return to Sunday River this Christmas for another five days of excellent skiing following a great trip last year. All twenty-five senior pupils skied brilliantly for five hours a day, perfecting their skills on some challenging terrain over the course of the week.
What was most remarkable was the fact that all students who had never skied before could make their way down a black slope by the end of the third day! In the evening we enjoyed a wide range of different activities including bowling, fireworks, a quiz and (of course) the outdoor jacuzzi which overlooked the slopes!
After five days in resort we headed to New York City where students took in many of the famous sites, as well as enjoying an ice hockey game. We were fortunate to once again meet OA Peter Shaerf at his office on the 67th floor of the Chrysler building, just in time for a picturesque sunset! Overall, a fun-filled week away, and we look forward to next year’s trip.
