Welcome to the Aldenham School Sixth Form

Each Sixth Former beomces an integral part of our House system, placing pastoralcare at the forefront of the Aldenham education. With single-se houses for study and socialising, supported by caring Housemasters and Housemistresses, and a personal tutor, every student finds their space for their own academic and personal journey.

Our Sixth Formers are given a greater degree of independence than younger students. We instil a sense of social responsibility by offering leadership opportunities and create a supportive environment which facilitates discussion of critical social issues as these children become young adults.

Private study sessions and study skills classes guided by expert teachers are integrated into the timetable, cultivating positive independent study habits.

The Modern, spacious Sixth Form Centre, bathed in natural light, boasts a cafe and a common room dedicated to focused study periods, and is used exclusively by Sixth Form students. Tailored university and career guidance from our Head of Sixth Form, Assistant Head of Sixth Form, UCAS advisors and Careers Coordinator are readily available within the Sixth Form Centre.
