Swimming Success

March 6, 2017

Congratulations to Dillon Chana and John Telenski who were selected to represent the Watford & District team at the Inter District Swimming Championships at Sportspace Leisure Centre, Hemel Hempstead on 3 March. Competition was tough, with some National swimmers on display who were keen to do well on their home patch.

In the Intermediate Boys category (Years 9 & 10) and in front of an enthusiastic full house Dillon won Silver in the 100m Individual Medley with a personal best of 1:05.22 and Bronze in the 50m Freestyle in 26.94. In the Senior Boys’ category (Year 11, 12 & 13) John stepped up to the mark to claim Bronze in the 50m Breaststroke in a time of 34.63 and also swam superbly in both the Medley and Freestyle relays.

Congratulations to both swimmers, they were a credit to Aldenham School.
