The Choir Visit Rome

June 28, 2015

The Choir, cantabile (together with some OAs) and Chamber Orchestra had a wonderful visit to Rome at the start of the summer holidays.

58 pupils and staff set off for a combined concert tour and sightseeing excursion. They performed at two evening venues in central Rome to great acclaim and sung beautifully at a mass service in St Peter’s Cathedral in the Vatican. They also visited the Colloseum, the Pantheon, Ostia Antica and the Borghese Gardens and Gallery. A truly memorable experience for all, finishing with a brilliant visit to a water park on the last day!
