Aldenham School, Founded 1597

The Chaplaincy

Aldenham School welcomes pupils of all faiths and none.

The School has a proud Christian heritage and employs a full-time Church of England Chaplain to lead the School community in regular services of worship and to commemorate special occasions throughout the School year, for example Remembrance Day and at the carol service in the run up to the Christmas holidays.

All students and staff attend these services, which are held in the School Chapel and are important events in the life of our shared community. The Chaplain is also available to all staff, students and their families to provide pastoral care or a listening ear when needed.

The School motto is "In God Is All Our Trust" and it is noticeable that at events for Old Aldenhamians (OAs) the former students speak warmly of their memories of this vital part of Aldenham life.
