Senior Ski Trip to Killington

February 20, 2017

30 students and 5 staff had a fantastic week of skiing in Killington, Vermont over February half term. The conditions were amazing, with fresh powder to enjoy every day and some blue skies throughout. The students skied a wide range of terrain over the course of their five days of lessons, with the advanced and upper intermediate groups skiing every black and double black diamond run on the mountain! Students were also lucky to enjoy some off-piste skiing through the trees with guidance from their instructors. In the evening they enjoyed a wide range of activities, including bowling, a local college basketball game and snow tubing.

After five days of skiing the group headed back to New York where they enjoyed Cirque du Soleil on Broadway, dinner in Times Square, an educational and moving trip to the 9/11 Memorial Museum (especially for students who met with and spoke to a survivor about his experiences) and views of the city from Battery Park and the High Line. Overall, this was a fantastic week with glorious conditions and we look forward to our return to the USA next year for another trip!
