Drama wins at the North London Festival

April 25, 2016

Following on from the great success at the Watford Festival, two senior groups from Aldenham participated in the Group Acting competition in the North London Festival last weekend. Held in the Bull Theatre in Barnet both groups won their age groups competing against other Drama Schools with both receiving marks over 90, representing ‘Outstanding’.

In the younger section the Year 7s were awarded the highest mark of the whole Festival and will therefore receive the Curtain Up Shield at the finale concert in Muswell Hill in May. Two weeks from now some of the same pupils will be competing in the solo and duo section of the Festival. We wish them all every success.

Congratulations to Eleanor Rees, Georgia Lowe, Azaan Iqbal, Will Judge, Tega Ogufere, Jake Reynolds, Zackary Agama, Clem McQuoid, Irsiya Masood, Gilbert Mosdal and Krish Menon.
