Higher Education Information Evening
April 27, 2018
Our Higher Education Information Evening offered invaluable help to Year 12 students and their parents as they plan for their futures. There were three main talks throughout the evening and all students were given a copy of the invaluable ‘Aldenham Approach to University Applications’ booklet. The keynote speaker was Cat Knight from City University who gave a superb talk covering topics from personal statements to student finance and everything in between. Mr Kerslake outlined the rigorous approach that Aldenham take to writing student references. Mrs Tekin described some of the fantastic apprenticeship and gap year opportunities that are available to students.
Staff and families then went back to their Houses for some refreshments and an informal chat with members of the Sixth Form team. We do hope all of our Year 12s enjoyed the evening and we are really excited to help them with the many important decisions they need to make.
