Sixth Form Psychologists’ Cocktail Party

The Year 12 Psychology students enjoyed their ‘Psychologists’ Cocktail Party’ on Monday 2nd October.

As part of the cross-curricular Heroes and Heroines project, students were each allocated a well-known psychologist to research and represent, such as Freud, Bandura or Loftus. At the cocktail party, the students had a quick carousel or ‘speed dating’ activity, to find out about each other in their roles. They then had to choose which psychologist was most similar in views to their own role. Students were well-prepared for their roles and enjoyed the refreshments in their decorated classroom.
