The Aldenham Cross Country
April 3, 2019
496 students took part in this year’s House Cross Country competition. Following a shower of hailstones, thankfully the weather improved and the event was able to take place in perfect running conditions.
Marcus Tulio Ribeiro-Dias and Isabella Yeaslsey were first boy and girl home for Martineau’s. In a fantastic Junior race the first student to cross the line was Lily Zentner in 9.56 for Riding’s House, closely followed by Romey Eccles-Meoded for Beevor’s in 10.03. Congratulations also to an outstanding athlete Myles Mcleod, who was the winner of the Senior race for the third year. He was challenged right to the line by Milly Rees who finished just one second behind in a thrilling race.
