Year 7 Trip to Warner Bros Studios

Year 7 enjoyed celebrating the end of their first year at Aldenham with a trip to ‘Warner Bros Studio: The Making of Harry Potter.’ The tour provided the pupils with the opportunity to step on to authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore the behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter film series. They were able to discover the iconic Hogwarts Great Hall and explore the Forbidden Forest, board the original Hogwarts Express at Platform 9 ¾ and step foot into Gringotts Wizarding Bank, all before wandering down Diagon Alley. This year the studios are celebrating 20 years since the release of ‘The Goblet of Fire’ so the pupils were treated to live performances and additional interactive features based around this book. Students were inspired to see just how many jobs there are within the film industry that go far beyond the performances they see onscreen. A wonderful way to mark the end of their first year at Aldenham.
